At Eddie King´s upholstery workshop in Grünerløkka, there is a video installation in the window facing the street displaying the process of making of ‘Migrant Car’ in April and May 2019. In addition to documenting the building process of the sculpture, the film also focuses on the project collaborators and artisans who built ‘Migrant Car’. The video is displaying a process of production but also of relationships between people working and a community that engages with this workshop. The film itself is in a continuous process of editing and will be updated regularly during the exhibition period. In an adjacent window plays a video made in 2015 by the artist Ed D’Souza of a previous version of the sculpture being made by the furniture maker David Jose in Fort Kochi, India.
